Nata nel 2025 in seno al Paradiso Film Fest, la Piccola Orchestra Paradiso torna con un nuovo laboratorio intensivo dedicato alla musica, al cinema e alla creazione collettiva.
Guidati da Natale Alessi, Libero Reina e Pierre Vaiana, i/le partecipanti esploreranno melodie legate al cinema per costruire insieme la colonna sonora di un film immaginario, tra improvvisazioni, atmosfere sonore, soundpainting e orchestrazioni spontanee.
PROGRAMMA
Dal 27 al 29 luglio: prove e creazione collettiva.
Dal 30 luglio al 2 agosto: interventi musicali all’interno del festival, con un momento speciale durante la passeggiata musicale di venerdì 31 luglio.
Il workshop è aperto a tutti i livelli.

CONDUTTORI
Libero Reina: musicista siciliano, fonde ritmi elettronici e strumenti tradizionali persiani (Santoor, Ney Anban) in un linguaggio mediterraneo contemporaneo.
Natale Alessi: musicista, performer e compositore attivo nella scena sperimentale. Ha presentato al PFF 2024 e 2025 progetti che uniscono musica, narrazione e immagine.
Pierre Vaiana: sassofonista soprano, compositore e pedagogo, figura di riferimento del jazz europeo e cofondatore del PFF.

PICCOLA ORCHESTRA PARADISO

Founded in 2025 as part of the Paradiso Film Fest, the PICCOLA ORCHESTRA PARADISO returns with a new workshop dedicated to music, focusing on film scores and collective creation.
Under the direction of Natale Alessi, Libero Reina and Pierre Vaiana, participants will explore melodies inspired by cinema to create the soundtrack for an imaginary film through improvisation, soundscapes, soundpainting, and collective orchestrations.
PROGRAM
July 27–29: rehearsals and collective creation.
July 30–August 2: musical performances as part of the festival, including a special appearance during the walking concert on Friday, July 31.
The workshop is open to all ability levels.

Libero Reina: a Sicilian musician who fuses electronic rhythms with traditional Persian instruments (santoor, ney anban) into a contemporary Mediterranean musical language.
Natale Alessi: a musician, performer, and composer active in the experimental music scene. He presented projects combining music, storytelling, and visuals at the PFF in 2024 and 2025.
Pierre Vaiana: soprano saxophonist, composer, and educator; a leading figure in European jazz and co-founder of the PFF.

PICCOLA ORCHESTRA PARADISO
Du 27 juillet au 2 août 2026, Palazzo Adriano
Créé en 2025 dans le cadre du Paradiso Film Fest, la PICCOLA ORCHESTRA PARADISO revient avec un nouveau stage consacré à la musique, avec un focus sur la musique de film et la création collective.
Sous la direction de Natale Alessi, Libero Reina et Pierre Vaiana, les participants exploreront des mélodies liées au cinéma afin de composer ensemble la bande originale d’un film imaginaire, entre improvisations, ambiances sonores, soundpainting et orchestrations collectives.
PROGRAMME
Du 27 au 29 juillet : répétitions et création collective.
Du 30 juillet au 2 août : interventions musicales dans le cadre du festival, avec un moment spécial lors de la promenade musicale du vendredi 31 juillet.
L’atelier est ouvert à tous les niveaux.
